Biography

Mr. Hartenstein joined the Board of Directors in February 2016 and has served as Lead Independent Director since December 2018. Mr. Hartenstein served as the publisher and Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Times from 2008 to 2014. He was President and Chief Executive Officer from 2011 to 2013 and co-President from 2010 to 2011 of the Tribune Company. He was Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2004 and President from its inception in 1990 to 2001 of DIRECTV Inc.
