Broadcom Ships World’s Fastest NVMe/SAS/SATA RAID Solutions to Server and External Storage OEMs
Latest 9400-series MegaRAID controllers deliver over 1.7M IOPS for high performance enterprise data center applications

SAN JOSE, Calif. and SINGAPORE, April 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Broadcom Limited (NASDAQ:AVGO) today is shipping the world’s fastest NVMe/SAS/SATA Tri-Mode SERDES MegaRAID® family of controllers to customers. Broadcom’s new family of high-performance 9400-series MegaRAID controllers support up to 16 internal and external ports on a single chip while providing unmatched IOPS performance, data protection and the lowest power consumption for server OEMs, system integrators and storage manufacturers.

The addition of the 9400-series NVMe/SAS/SATA Tri-Mode SERDES MegaRAID controllers to the Broadcom storage portfolio enables customers to experience new levels of read and write performance. With over 1.7M IOPS, the 9400-series RAID controllers provide the most performance and robust data protection for all intensive cloud scaling, web services, business intelligence and OLTP applications used within traditional and hyper-converged server platforms. With industry-leading power consumption starting at just 10 watts, the 9400-series is the most efficient RAID controller card in its class and provides the necessary power savings for any data center environment.
