|Avago Technologies Set to Join the S&P 500|
|NEW YORK, May 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Avago Technologies Limited (NASD: AVGO) will replace LSI Corp. (NASD: LSI) in the S&P 500 after the close of trading on Wednesday, May 7. Avago Technologies is acquiring LSI in a deal expected to be completed tomorrow.|
Avago Technologies is engaged in the design, development, and supply of analog semiconductor devices. Headquartered in Singapore, the company will be added to the S&P 500 GICS (Global Industry Classification) Semiconductors Sub-Industry index.
