Ethics and Integrity

Broadcom is committed to uncompromising integrity in our business and to maintaining the highest standards of business conduct and ethics in all of our worldwide operations and locations.

We design our corporate governance framework to support the long-term interests of our stockholders and compliance with regulatory requirements related to corporate governance. We also closely monitor governance trends and best practices.

 

Governance Documents and Policies

Broadcom's Board of Directors approved amendments to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct on March 13, 2019. A summary of the substantive amendments can be found in the Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 14, 2019: Click here for filing.

 

Compliance Training

Broadcom requires every employee and contractor to complete various compliance trainings and certify each year that they have reviewed, understand and agree to abide by Broadcom’s policies and guidelines, including:

  • Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
  • Insider Trading Policy and Procedures
  • Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy

We currently achieve a completion rate over 99% for these compliance trainings and continue to strive for 100% completion rate.

 

Compliance Hotline

Broadcom maintains a Compliance Hotline, hosted by a third-party vendor, that is available to those who wish to ask questions about our policies, seek guidance on specific situations or report violations of the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct or other Broadcom policies or laws.
